UnCrushedLeaves brings to you the great experience to be part of the climb and be one with the nature and Himalayas – The White Hostess summit. At 6000 meters this is one of the few summits that can be done without much of technical climbing experience. White Hostess climb challenges you, inspires you and brings you closer to the nature and beauty of Himalayas in the heart of Spiti valley.

Day 1 – Night at UcL Stay in Kaza

Day 2 – Drive to the high altitude village of Kibber (~4200 m) via Ki Monastery (a 1000 year old citadel of spectacular beauty). Acclimatization day – walk around the meadows, up to the gompa. Visit the village of Chichham across a gorge. Stay and eat at UcL Stay

Day 3 – Begin trek to Kanamo base camp (~5 km, 4-5 hr). More acclimatization activities, camp for the night

Day 4 – Early morning trek up to summit (~7 hr). Soak in your accomplishment. Back down to base camp (~5 hr)

Day 5 – Hike back to Kibber. Lunch at homestay. Drive down to Kaza. Music and culture night (depends on availability of performers). UcL Stay at Kaza

You need to bring your own backpack, shoes and warm clothing. A trekking pole will be beneficial.

Note: This is a high altitude trek. Fitness is a must. A two-month regime of regular jogging and running is recommended to strengthen the cardiovascular system. Acclimatization activities to adjust to increasing altitudes is a key part of the trip. Prior trekking experience is a plus.
